OUR BELIEFS
We are a local gathering of The Church, The Body Of Christ.
We are put into this body by faith in Jesus Christ’s finished work at Calvary
Salvation
Calvary, the place where the father sent Jesus Christ, the Son, to pay the ransom for the trespasses of all mankind's sinful will. He freely imparted the Holy Spirit to those who believe, and rest in this free gift of complete and total pardon. Christ accomplished this by suffering our punishment at the cross. These three persons, Father, Son, And Holy Spirit are one. We find this testimony in his Word.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." 1 John 5:7
Inspiration and Preservation of His Word
His Word inspired, has been preserved in the English language in the current form of the King James Bible. This revelation to man of His will for us was made complete and perfect with the compiling in the books of the bible.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16
Revelation of the Mystery
The Bible is where we find the revelation of the distinct ministry of reconciliation revealed to the Apostle Paul. It is in Paul's epistles where we find our doctrine, our position, our father unto salvation, our future destination, our present position, and concerning this local assembly, our mission.
“How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;" Ephesians 3:3-5
OUR MISSION
“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:4
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:25
